A “silk” is what the flag is called for those in colorguard/flag corp. This is a silk I pulled out today in a fit of exercise and taking a trip down memory lane. Read my blog post about it here.

Attempting to get a photo of a butterfly, I set my cell phone camera to extra contrast. I noticed this potential shot by accident and I ended up loving it. This shot is technically sideways, but I have no interest it fixing what my camera misunderstood. I like it for some reason!

Packing up the liquor cabinet tonight, I found a set of martini glasses that I forgot I had. They became my photo subject tonight!
Day 6:Complementary colors

I spent the day at home, and didn’t have much inspiration. We have several baby pumpkins lying around the house, so I chose one to use in a photo shoot. Out of about 10 shots, I deemed this one my favorite. The blue glow is a reflection from the TV on the glass tabletop.
